Intermediate Finishes is a two-pack polyamide cured epoxy intermediate coat pigmented with Micaceous iron pigment to give good anti corrosive properties.

DESCRIPTION: Normal exterior emulsions cannot protect exterior walls from patches of sogginess, algae, and fungus caused by rain. Rubilux – Vivid ultra is especially formulated to give long lasting protection and beautiful looks with excellent colour retention for years to come.

SURFACE PREPARATION: Ensure surface is thoroughly clean, dry and free from all loose dirt, chalk, grease, fungi, algae and flaking paint. This can be achieved by brushing with a wire/ stiff coir brush, followed by water jetting if required. Fill up all minor cracks and defects with cement and sand mixture in the ratio 1:3. Avoid application of putty or filling compound while painting an exterior surface
PRIMING: Application of putty is not recommended. In case of freshly plastered walls, apply one self priming coat or one coat of Rubilux Exterior cement Primer after thinning with water in the ratio of 1:1 by volume. For best performance self priming is recommended.
FINISHING: Apply two coats of Rubilux-Vivid ultra for normal surfaces, with 3-5 hours between coats. 3 coats may be required in case of darker colours. For horizontal surface, minimum 3 coats is recommended for best performance

DESCRIPTION: Rubilux- Premium Emulsion is a water based, high quality durable and washable emulsion with a Rich smooth finish. It is suitable for all normal interior masonry surface including particle board, fiber and insulation board. It also provides fungus and stain resistance .So your home stays beautiful for years to come. It is having better Washable resistance against pencil and other crayon marks.
SURFACE PREPARATION: Ensure that the surface is clean, dry, free from all loose particles, dust, dirt, grease, wax etc. before application. All surfaces should be thoroughly rubbed down using a suitable abrasive paper and thereafter wiped off. Suitable remedial measures should be taken in case of water seepage/leakage problems. Fungus affected areas need separate treatment.
PRIMING: Sand the surface with Emery Paper 180 and wipe clean. Prime surface with a coat of Rubilux Cement primer water base and dry overnight. Use preferably Rubilux Acrylic wall putty to rectify and smoothen out the surface. Allow drying for 3-4 hours. Apply another coat of primer. Allow drying for 3-5 hours. Sand the surface with low Emery Paper and wipe clean.To get the best finish, the priming should be taken care.
FINISHING: Stir thoroughly before use. Apply 2 coats of Rubilux- Premium thinned with 400- 450 ml of water for 1 litre of paint with 1-2 hours interval between the coats. Normally two coats of paint are sufficient for opacity and desired finish. However extra coat may be required in case of change in colour. Dark colours may take extra one coat to cover.
